‘Never-ending cycle’: Prineville shelter faced with dog kennel overcrowding pleads for public assist
PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- At the end of October, the Humane Society of the Ochocos was at 145% capacity for dogs, putting a major strain on their operations.
Since then, the situation has improved slightly, officials told us this week, but they are still pleading with the public to help out.
Kelsey Merison met with the shelter staff and will have more about ways for you to assist in her report coming up tonight on NewsChannel 21 Fox @ Four.
