REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Late travelers were flying into Redmond Airport Wednesday for their Thanksgiving plans. It’s considered the busiest travel day of the year - both on the roads and in the air.
Over 5 million travelers in the country are projected to fly this holiday week, a new high, according to AAA.
Redmond Airport officials say they have already seen more booked flights and packed terminals than past holidays.
