Suttle Lake trail bridge work to cause closures

KTVZ

Installation of a trail bridge from Suttle Lake Boat Launch to the Link Creek Campground on the Sisters Ranger District will cause temporary closures of recreation areas to the public beginning next week.

The trail bridge will complete the Suttle Lake Trail loop and replace a bridge that was previously condemned. The 95-foot long bridge will cross from the Suttle Lake Boat Launch at the inlet of Link Creek to the Link Creek Campground.

Closures will include:
• Total closure of the Suttle Lake Boat Launch parking lot on August 21 and 22 and partial closure of the parking lot through the end of August, 2012.
• Total closure of the Suttle Lake Boat Launch after Labor Day weekend through October, 2012.
• Closure of Link Creek Campsites #20, #21, #22 from August 20 through October, 2012.
