KTVZ

Saving Grace is proud to announce our inclusion in the list of Oregon Business magazine’s annual 100 Best Nonprofits to Work for in Oregon.

This is the fourth consecutive year Saving Grace has made the prestigious list. The official rankings were released at the 100 Best Awards Dinner in Portland on Thursday evening. Saving Grace ranked 4 th out of the medium sized nonprofits.

Saving Grace Executive Director Janet Huerta believes the survey provides critical insight into the organization’s strengths and helps to set priorities for improvement.

“At Saving Grace, we believe our greatest strength is our professional staff,” said Huerta. “It makes sense to take good care of our staff as they take good care of the people who come to us for crisis services.

“I’m delighted for Saving Grace to have an independent validation that the way we treat our staff is working. It will also help Saving Grace to continue to attract qualified job candidates and committed volunteers.”

This year, the list and rankings were based on the confidential input of the 5,000 employees from 169 nonprofits across the state. Employees and volunteers responded to a 60-question survey about workplace satisfaction including benefits, management, trust, work environment, and development.

Saving Grace provides comprehensive family violence and sexual assault services and promotes the value of life without violence. For more information visit www.saving-grace.org or feel free to contact lauren@saving-grace.org.
