Redmond schools seek budget panel member

Redmond School District 2J is seeking applicants for one vacant position on the Budget Committee.

The Budget Committee is made up of all five School Board members and five appointed Budget Committee members. Budget Committee members are appointed to serve for three years. The Budget Committee will begin meeting and deliberating on the 2013-2014 district budget during the spring of 2013.

Applications must be in the school district by Friday, January 11, 2013, and the Budget Committee members will be appointed at the January 30, 2013 School Board meeting.

Budget Committee members must reside in the Redmond School District and may not be employed by the district. Those interested in serving on the Budget Committee or want more information should call Kathy Steinert at the district administration office, 541-923-8927.
