Saving Grace’s ‘Take Back the Night’ coming up

KTVZ

Join us on Tuesday, April 7th for a Take Back the Night event at the Old Mill District. We will be supporting survivors while learning more about sexual assault and how you can help!

Join us as an individual or get a team of friends or co-workers together and join us for this free, family friendly event.

We will challenge everyone to visit 5 stations that will include a fun activity that will leave you more knowledgeable about sexual assault and how to speak out within our community (activities for kids at each station). Each activity will earn you points and there will be opportunities for prizes for those that complete all 5 stations.

Also, bring donations for Saving Grace’s sexual assault services and earn bonus points. We’re asking everyone to bring one or more of the following;

– gas cards
– (new) underwear and socks (children’s sizes)
– (new/gently used) children’s books (Spanish and English)

You can also donate through Saving Grace’s Crowdrise Take Back the Night 2015 page: https://www.crowdrise.com/TakeBacktheNight2015/fundraiser/savinggrace3

We will meet at the former Orvis building in the Old Mill District at 6pm. Prizes include over $100 in Old Mill gift certificates, Silipints, movie passes and more! Also, prizes for largest team, most spirited team and best fundraising team. Enjoy coffee and dessert from Strictly Organic for all participants.

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors; Old Mill District, Horizon Broadcasting, Deschutes Brewery, Les Schwab, Pacific Source, Bend Research, and Strictly Organic.

Register your team today by emailing lauren@saving-grace.org or register at the event! Don’t have a team? NO PROBLEM! Everyone is encouraged to come out and support Saving Grace and sexual assault survivors. Interested in talking with someone about the event? Call Saving Grace’s Admin Offices at 541-382-9227.
