KTVZ

The Pacific Northwest Region of the USDA Forest Service has launched the Forest Service Employment Outreach Website.

Available at https://fsoutreach.gdcii.com/Outreach, the site is for the general public job seeker searching for current and future employment opportunities.

“This is a new, exciting service for individuals looking for employment with the U.S. Forest Service in the Pacific Northwest,” said Nita Wornom, Pacific Northwest Region Civil Rights Director. “The employment outreach database allows job seekers to search for positions in specialties such as fire, trails, timber, recreation, fisheries and archeology.”

The new website provides a variety of search fields like type of opportunity, organization, series, grade, duty location and type of position as well as the ability to respond directly to an outreach notice. Job seekers can also provide a statement that explains why they are a quality candidate for a particular job.

A step by step guide for using the website is available by following the “Help” button at the bottom of the website page.

The vacancy announcements for positions will be posted on https://fsoutreach.gdcii.com/Outreach website upon completion of the outreach notice where applicants can complete and submit the job application.
