Pilot Butte summit road closed Friday for crack sealing

The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department will temporarily close Pilot Butte State Park’s summit road to both vehicle and foot traffic on Friday to perform crack sealing work. It will reopen in the late afternoon or early evening.

“We ask that hikers use the dirt nature trail or base trail during this time,” says Susan Bethers, Park Manager. “We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in avoiding the work area and thank you for your patience while we perform this much-needed project.”
