NeighborImpact adds homebuyer education program

Here’s to more homeownership education in Central Oregon! Just in time for National Homeownership Month, NeighborImpact’s HomeSource program is bringing Framework Online Homebuyer Education, a robust online Homebuyer Education Program, to Central and Eastern Oregon.

NeighborImpact HomeSource is a participating member of HomeSmart Oregon, a collaborative of nonprofit organizations that connect first-time homebuyers with the assistance and tools they need to make good decisions.

HomeSmart organizations offer homeownership programs that provide financial assistance and guidance on everything from creating a savings plan to comparing mortgage and loan options. Locally, NeighborImpact’s HomeSource department serves all of Central and Eastern Oregon with education, coaching, and support.

The addition of the Framework Online Homebuyer Education program to the array of programs and services we offer will allow clients to The Framework course is entirely online, start to finish. You can work on it when, where, and how you like. On your smart phone, during your lunch hour . . . whatever works best. It’s easy to stop and then pick up exactly where you left off.

About Framework: Framework wasn’t created by a lender or a real estate company, but by two independent, national nonprofits: the Housing Partnership Network and the Minnesota Homeownership Center. Industry leaders for more than 20 years, we advance smart homeownership nationwide-which in turn helps create strong communities.

This is especially good news for any Oregonian looking to buy in Central Oregon. As you may have heard, the Oregon real-estate market is crazy hot and that kind of high-pressure environment, on top of peak buying season, makes homebuyer education even more critical.

Within the state, they offer homeownership programs that provide financial assistance and guidance on everything from creating a savings plan to comparing mortgage and loan options.

And now we will be offering the Framework homeownership course throughout the state.

“We evaluated homebuyer online education platforms and found Framework to be the most robust, engaging, and informative on the market,” says HomeSmart’s Brigetta Olson. “We’re excited about our new partnership and the expanded opportunities it provides to clients throughout our state.”
