Redmond school receives $5,000 donation

Tom McCall Elementary School has received a $5,000 donation from Best Buy and Intel’s Retail Edge program.

During the summer, Best Buy store associates from more than 5,000 retail locations competed against other stores (through quizzes and knowledge checks) across the U.S. and Canada for the chance to recognize a local school with a donation.

Due to the success of local Best Buy Store 863 associates and a great partnership with Intel, a $5,000 donation to Tom McCall Elementary School in Redmond was awarded on Oct 29.

Best Buy Store 863 associates Russ Morris, Chris King, Michaela Pratt, Caleb Fidler, and Brittany Smith alongside Candice Blackwell, from Intel, presented the check to Drew Frank, Tom McCall Elementary Principal, during a special assembly held at the school.

“Tom McCall Elementary is honored to receive this generous donation from Best Buy and Intel,” shares Drew Frank, Principal. “This gift will allow our school to providemeaningful classroom resources to help students succeed.”
