Cascade Natural Gas Bend project update: April 4

Cascade Natural Gas crews in Bend have the first two Blocks of NW Tumalo Avenue (between NW Riverside Boulevard east to NW Congress Street), shut down to through traffic until Wednesday. The shutdown is to allow for temporary paving of the trench from NW Riverside Blvd. past the intersection with NW State Street.

Once the temporary paving is caught up past the intersection with NW State St., the next 2 blocks on NW Tumalo Avenue to be shut down during the day will be from NW State St. east to NW Broadway.

Motorists should continue to avoid NW Tumalo Ave for the next 3-4 weeks during construction. The street will be open each evening around 5:30 p.m.
