Redmond Kiwanis starts merry-go-round fundraiser

KTVZ

The $1 million playground at Sam Johnson Park in Redmond was dedicated in October, but without the accessible merry-go-round that was part of the original design.

That component will cost an additional $55,000.

To stimulate funding for the merry go round, Kiwanis and the City of Redmond have launched a Go-Fund-Me drive at https://www.gofundme.com/Hope-Playground.

The club is also seeking contributions for personalized paver bricks in the playground for a minimum contribution of $100. For $5,000 businesses and individuals can have a double-sized brick.

Checks should be made out to the Redmond Kiwanis Foundation. They can be mailed to P.O. Box 253, Redmond, Oregon 97756
