As an Advertising Consultant for NPG of Oregon, Inc. (operating 4 TV stations including KTVZ – NBC, KFXO – FOX, KQRE – Telemundo and NTVZ – CW in Bend, Oregon), our staff works with a variety of local companies to help them grow their business through television and digital advertising. Our consultants work in an enjoyable and supportive environment, and are backed by strong research and marketing tools that make selling the area’s top performing stations easy.
If you have prior sales experience, are not afraid to cold call and believe in a customer focused sales approach, we want to hear from you. We provide comprehensive training and an excellent benefit package.
Our preferred candidate is a college graduate with some knowledge of media and a marketing background, with 1-2 years of sales experience, excellent customer service skills and an ability to interface with all types of people at various levels of an organization. Must have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet, along with demonstrating a level of Digital competency and aptitude in new digital media.
An established list of accounts will be offered along with generous commissions and competitive benefits; however, the position will focus on developing new to television advertising accounts.
Applicants should possess sufficient mobility to travel to client’s place of business and conduct presentations. A valid Oregon driver’s license or the ability to obtain one is required.
