Jericho Road receives $5,000 grant

KTVZ

Jericho Road, a Redmond-based organization helping the homeless and hungry, has received a $5,000 grant from Hayden Homes’ First Story.

The money will help support the Housing Assistance program, as well as rent and deposits.

Jericho Road is also involved with providing Redmond’s homeless and hungry with alternatives to costly food expenses when rents and related housing charges are so prohibitive.

According to Mike Powers, chairman of the Jericho Road Board, “This money is a perfect gift to so many of our friends and neighbors in the Redmond area especially during the cold months when shelter is critical to survival.”
