Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 10.2.18

KTVZ

Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
The continuing advance of a storm system centered off the California coast will bring some highs winds and a chance of rain to the High Desert today. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s. Westerly winds will ramp up to 15-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Winds will turn NW tonight and stay pretty gusty. We will see some partial clearing tonight with overnight lows in the low to mid 30’s.
From here we get set up for cold, wet air to be pushed into the region. That will deliver a cooling trend that will have our daytime highs in the mid to upper 50’s by the end of the week. A chance of spotty showers will stay in our forecast for the next few days.
