Weather anchor, NewsChannel 21

Working in Bend had been a goal of mine since I was in college. As a child, I quickly fell in love with Central Oregon and its outdoor playground while camping, fishing and paddling along the Deschutes River with my family.

My dad is a former Zigzag Hot Shot. My mom is a former radio announcer in the Portland area. My great-great-grandfather opened the first garage in The Dalles and served as Wasco County judge in the '40s. I’m a born and raised Oregonian who loves to travel our beautiful state.

I graduated from Rex Putnam High School in Milwaukie, just south of Portland. After high school, I went to Clackamas Community College, where I played softball while getting my associate's degree. I then got my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oregon, where I anchored and produced Duck TV, wrote a humor column for the Oregon Media Group and played club softball.

A summer internship at NBC Sports Northwest (formerly Comcast Sportsnet NW) turned into a job as a Production Assistant from 2011-2013, when I covered the Oregon Ducks, Oregon State Beavers and Portland Trail Blazers. I also interned with the weather department at KEZI 9 News in Eugene during that time.

In early June of 2014, I started at NewsChannel 21 as a Producer, Reporter and Anchor. In January of 2016, I assumed the full-time evening Weather Anchor position.

Outside of work, you’ll see me skiing the slopes at Mt. Bachelor in the brightest colors I can find, riding my motor scooter around town, enjoying one of the High Desert’s many microbrews and exploring the vast terrain we have here in Central Oregon.
