Research group backs ‘right to repair’ legislation

The Oregon State Public Interest Research Group is backing House Bill 2698, also known as the 'right to repair' legislation. They said Tuesday the bill would make it easier for Oregonians to fix their consumer electronics by requiring manufacturers to make parts, tools, and repair manuals available to the general public.
