Labor Day Picnic in Bend recognizes workers and labor union accomplishments

In appreciation of workers, union members, friends and family got together at Pioneer Park in Bend on Monday for a traditional Labor Day picnic after a two-year pause due to the pandemic.

The event was hosted by the Central Oregon Labor Council and represented Oregon’s AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions in the United States.
