TROON, Scotland (AP) — Tiger Woods is going home early from another major. Woods missed the cut in the British Open on Friday when he shot 77. Woods shot a 79 in the opening round at Royal Troon and would have needed his best round in six years to have a chance of getting to the weekend. He had a double bogey on his second hole and made only one birdie. Woods now has missed the cut in his last three majors. It’s the second time in his career he has done that. Woods says he won’t play again until December in the Bahamas.
