SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich has won reelection to a third term in New Mexico against Republican nominee Nella Domenici. Democratic U.S. Rep. Gabe Vasquez was also reelected Tuesday. Vasquez won in New Mexico’s swing district along the U.S. border in a rematch with the Republican he ousted in 2022. GOP nominee and former Congresswoman Yvette Herrell waged her fourth consecutive campaign for the 2nd District that stretches from Albuquerque to the border with Mexico. The wins by Heinrich and Vasquez means Democrats maintain all congressional seats in New Mexico.
