PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Crook County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook Thursday evening that deputies are aware of standing water on roadways throughout the county, specifically on Powell Butte Highway.

The Sheriff's Office posted this:

The Crook County Sheriff's Office and Crook County 911 are aware of standing water on Powell Butte Highway. The Crook County Road Department is actively placing warning signs in the affected area.

Motorists are urged to use caution, reduce their speed, and remain alert while traveling through the area. Standing water can create hazardous driving conditions and may be deeper than it appears.
