Brush Fire Near Redmond Airport Fully Contained at One Acre

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- A fire is now 100% contained after Redmond firefighters reported a brush fire this afternoon around 3:00 p.m.

The McCaffery fire, off SE McCaffery Road in Redmond, burned one acre before it was contained, according to wildfire tracking app, Watch Duty.

Redmond Fire and Rescue shared photos on their FaceBook page of a firefighter hosing down a burned pickup truck.

The cause is unknown at this time, along with information on any potential injuries.
