REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Redmond Municipal Airport Director Zachary Bass has stepped down after 11 years in the position. City of Redmond Deputy City Manager and Chief Financial Officer Jason Neff will serve as the airport's interim director.

During his 11-year tenure, Bass oversaw growth in passenger traffic and air service at the airport. He also secured the financing required to double the size of the airport terminal.

Neff brings 20 years of experience with the city to the interim role. As deputy city manager and CFO, he has directly overseen the airport director position since 2022.

The terminal expansion project at Redmond Municipal Airport is scheduled for completion in 2027.
