Highway 97 reopens north of Terrebonne, hours after semi-truck crash blocks road

TERREBONNE, Ore. (KTVZ) – A semi-truck flipped onto its side on Highway 97 north of Terrebonne Monday morning, causing reported minor injuries to the driver while blocking and closing the highway for several hours, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 8:20 a.m. near milepost 114, near Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint and about two miles north of Terrebonne, ODOT reported.
“Expect extended delays,” ODOT said, adding, “There is no local detour available in this area.”
ODOT said one lane was reopening with flaggers at mid-morning; the highway was reopen by afternoon. Check traffic updates on KTVZ.COM’s ODOT TripCheck page.
Oregon State Police said the single-vehicle crash of a northbound semitruck and trailer caused a minor injury to the operator, as initially reported and with a medical assessment underway.
