SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Attorneys for the tech consultant charged in the death of Cash App founder Bob Lee say their client had a cordial relationship with Lee and no reason to kill him. Nima Momeni appeared in court Monday for a preliminary hearing to determine whether there’s enough evidence to take him to trial on a murder charge. He has pleaded not guilty. The San Francisco prosecutor’s office has said Momeni planned the April 4 attack that left Lee dying on a desolate downtown street. They said he drove Lee to a secluded spot and stabbed him three times after a dispute over Momeni’s sister. Momeni’s attorneys say he was upset with another man, not Lee.
