DENVER (AP) — Authorities say a gunman leaving the scene of a car wreck shot his way into the Colorado Supreme Court building and inflicted “extensive damage” to the building. But investigators do not believe the incident was related to the court’s recent ruling removing former President Donald Trump from the ballot. The incident started early Tuesday after a crash where 44-year-old Brandon Olsen brandished a handgun. Authorities say Olsen then shot out a window of the Supreme Court building and took a key from an unarmed security guard. Authorities say Olsen fired inside the building but was ultimately arrested by Denver police. No injuries were reported.
