Summit High brings Mean Girls to the stage, with special cameos

Jillian Fortner has a report at Five

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) --The Summit High School Theatre Company is gearing up for their production of Mean Girls, set to debut next month.

The production will include special staff appearances, featuring none other than Principal Donna Servignat.

“Mean Girls is such a telling story about the high school experience.” Servignat said. “It's a lot about identity, who we are as human beings, and just trying to fit in. And it's just part of that rite of passage of growing up. I think all of us can relate to that, in a fun way!"

Jillian Fortner spoke with Summit High's principal and cast members to talk about their upcoming production. Catch her report tonight at Five on NewsChannel 21.
