Local businesses on Bend’s north end say they are feeling severely negative impacts from Highway 97 project

KTVZ

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Some small businesses on the north end of Bend say they are feeling the negative effects of the construction of the new Highway 97 route.

Owners of Kefi and Trailhead Liquor say they've seen massive declines in their customer numbers, as many don't know how to get to their businesses.

Menoula Stanitsas says Kefi has seen a 25% drop every month for the past three months, during what should be their busiest season.

Isabella Warren is speaking with the owners and reaching out to ODOT for a report tonight on NewsChannel 21 at Five.
