Redmond police say they collected 'potential DNA evidence' after weekend break-in, burglary at Hola Restaurant

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Redmond Police asked the public for tips Monday to help them solve a weekend burglary at Hola Restaurant in which someone broke in and stole cash and a bottle of tequila, but left behind "potential DNA evidence."

Police responded Sunday to the reported burglary at the restaurant on Northwest Greenwood Avenue, Lieutenant Eric Beckwith said.

Officers found signs of forced entry, and employees on scene indicated money and a bottle of tequila had been stolen. Beckwith said officers were able to gather “potential DNA evidence at the scene” and determined the crime occurred between 10:08 p.m. Saturday and 9:45 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious behavior or subjects in the area of Hola during that timeframe is asked to contact the Redmond Police Department through non-emergency dispatch, 541-693-6911, and report your observations.
