(Update: Missing woman found)
TERREBONNE, Ore. (KTVZ) – A missing Terrebonne woman who the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public's help to find Thursday has been located, deputies said Friday morning.
"Shelly Ann Morton has been located and is no longer considered a missing person," Sergeant Jason Wall said in an update.
"The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the public for their assistance," Wall added.
In issuing the public alert Thursday, the sheriff's office said Morton, 47, was last in contact with her family on Monday.
They gave a description of her car, a blue 2020 Kia Sorrento, but said it was not known where she'd be traveling or if she was still in the area.
