REMINDER: NewsChannel 21’s second Decision 2024 debate, Anthony Broadman and Michael Summers, tonight at 7
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – NewsChannel 21 is hosting a series of six live Decision 2024 televised debates in the coming weeks, to help voters cast an informed ballot, the second being Thursday night's debate between the two candidates in Senate District 27, Democrat Anthony Broadman and Republican Michael Summers.
The series will end with the first televised Central Oregon debate between the two candidates for Oregon's 5th Congressional District, Republican incumbent Lori Chavez-DeRemer and Democratic challenger Janelle Bynum, on Thursday, Oct. 10.
All six debates are being aired on NewsChannel 21-KTVZ, and via livestream on KTVZ.COM and on the NewsChannel 21 app.
NewsChannel 21 Anchor Lee Anderson will moderate the debates and will be joined by other local journalists for the Oregon 5th Congressional District debate.

7 – 7:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9: Deschutes County Sheriff, with candidates William Bailey and Kent Vander Kamp.
7 – 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12: Oregon Senate 27th District, with candidates Democrat Anthony Broadman and Republican Michael Summers
7 – 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18: Oregon House District 59, with candidates Republican Vikki Breese-Iverson and Democrat Brian Samp
7 – 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept 30: Oregon House District 53, with candidates Democrat Emerson Levy and Republican Keri Lopez
7 – 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct 2: Redmond Mayor with candidates Ed Fitch, Charles Baer, Cat Zwicker
6 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct 10: Oregon 5th Congressional District, with candidates Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer and Democrat Janelle Bynum
