Pro-Trump rally held at Redmond’s Centennial Park, supporting former president in trial’s wake

(Update: Adding video, comments from Deschutes Republican Party chairman)

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) - About 50 people gathered on the lawn at Redmond's Centennial Park Saturday afternoon to hold a rally in support of former President Donald Trump.

Attendees showed their support for the former president after he was found guilty recently of 34 counts of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

People were waving American flags and hanging pro- Trump banners and posters.

"I think people are at a point where they're they're kind of fed up -- their tolerance level has been met," Deschutes Republican Party Chairman Scott Stuart said. "There's been eight years of just, you know, 'Get Trump, get Trump, get Trump, get Trump,' non-stop in the media. People are just sick and tired of it. They're fed up with it!"

Organizers say they want change, and say when Trump was in office there were no wars and there was peace.

Trump has been on the campaign trail as the November election quickly approaches.
