OREGON (KTVZ) -- A proposed constitutional amendment protecting hunting, fishing, and other traditional activities is moving forward in Oregon.

Initiative Petition 25, known as the Oregon Freedom Amendment, has been sent to Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield to draft a ballot title and summary.

Supporters say the measure would protect rights to hunt, fish, farm, ranch, trap, grow food, and manage wildlife.

If it qualifies, Oregon voters could decide on the amendment in November 2028.
