Prineville ticket wins $3.2 million Megabucks jackpot

PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Someone in Central Oregon is waking up a millionaire this week after a winning Megabucks ticket worth $3.2 million was sold in Prineville.

The Oregon Lottery announced that a ticket sold in Prineville matched all six numbers in Saturday's Megabucks drawing, securing the jackpot prize.

Lottery officials have not yet identified the winner, and it is unclear whether the ticket has been claimed.

The jackpot win serves as a reminder for players to double-check their tickets, as Oregon's newest millionaire could be a Crook County resident who has not yet realized they've won.

Megabucks is Oregon's in-state jackpot game, with drawings held three times a week.

Lottery officials encourage anyone who purchased a Megabucks ticket in Prineville for Saturday's drawing to check their numbers and sign the back of any winning ticket.

Additional details, including where the ticket was sold were not immediately available.
