There’s Good News: Jefferson County crews rescue 2 dogs from pond

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Jefferson County Fire and EMS crews came to the rescue of two dogs that became trapped in a pond and could not get out on their own.

They shared photos of the rescue on their FaceBook page.

First responders were dispatched on a public assist call after the dogs were found struggling to exit the water. Personnel were able to reach the animals safely and pull them out of the pond onto dry land.

According to the agency, both dogs were unharmed and returned safely to shore, making for a positive ending to the rescue effort.
