Students raise funds for FFA programs during JCMS Discovery FFA Weed-A-Thon

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Students with JCMS Discovery FFA spent nearly an hour cleaning up their school grounds.

They pulled weeds around the campus as part of a fundraiser they called the JCMS Discovery FFA Weed-A-Thon.

The event raised money for FFA trips, activities, supplies, and other student expenses.

Organizers say the effort gave students a chance to work together, improve their school campus, and help create more opportunities through the FFA program.
