C.O. artists sell their unique creations on Skyliners Road over Memorial Day weekend

(Update: Adding video, comments from organizer)

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Central Oregon artists sold their unique creations on Skyliners Road over Memorial Day weekend. It was the Skyliners Art Sale consisting of seven local artists.

Every year, different artists are chosen for the event. There were plenty of items to purchase, showcasing original oil and acrylic paintings, jewelry and pottery.

"I'm the host, so I get to choose and people that I like their work and I think would sell," sale organizer Marcy Monte said Monday. "So they would call me and connect with me, and then I would talk about it and it would be a good fit."

The events are held twice a year, once in the spring and once in November, to sell local art. At the location, it's an open studio where people can come shop and enjoy the artwork.
