Big Thanksgiving travel week begins: How Bend people, businesses are spending their time for the holiday

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Thanksgiving is right around the corner, with turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes ready at the table.

With the holiday coming up, that means people are ready to travel to visit family and friends, or stay in town. This holiday season is the beginning of coming together, with Christmas quickly approaching.

AAA Oregon-Idaho says Bend is once again the region's top Thanksgiving holiday travel destination.

Kelsey McGee will be speaking with people walking around the Old Mill. She will also be heading to downtown Bend, to speak with businesses there, and how business has been going this holiday. Her report will be on NewsChannel 21 at Five.
