Community Rallies to Care for Evacuated Animals

PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) – As wildfire evacuations continue across Central Oregon, county fairgrounds are helping provide temporary shelter for evacuated animals while volunteers work to care for livestock and pets displaced by the fires.

KTVZ is at the Crook County Fairgrounds today, where we’re speaking with organizers, volunteers and animal owners about the emergency response and the community effort to keep animals safe.
