California man killed in Hwy. 26 crash on Warm Springs Reservation

WARM SPRINGS, Ore. (KTVZ) – A California man was killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 26 on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, Oregon State Police reported.

Troopers and emergency personnel responded around 12:20 a.m. to the reported crash near milepost 75, troopers said.

A preliminary investigation found that Michael Wynne, 28, of Falbrook, California, was heading west when his Subaru Impreza left the highway and struck several trees.

Wynne sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene, troopers said.

OSP was assisted at the scene by the Warm Springs police and fire departments, and ODOT.
