Mt. Bachelor makes room for 800 firefighters working Cedar Creek fire

Fire crews are setting up two incident command centers at Mt. Bachelor. Their locations change according to fire conditions. About 800 firefighters are expected to arrive Friday and Saturday.

Heavy firefighting equipment also was moved in the area on Friday. Fire officials are going to bring in tents and RVs for crews to sleep in at Bachelor. Fire officials are also providing their own food and water supplies.
