IRS provides free tax options for military members and veterans
There are resources for Central Oregon's 22,000 veterans during tax season. It's not just veterans who can get the free help, their families can as well, and they have several options. One of the resources is Miltax. The software is designed to make filing easier, and more efficient. The other resource is IRS Free File. It's a program allowing people who meet certain income limits to file their return, at no charge.
