Downtown Bend businesses seek gift card purchases for fire victims

Select businesses in downtown Bend are participating in a program where gift cards are purchased, then given to fire victims. One of those businesses is Volcano Vector Arcade, another is 5 Fusion Restaurant.

    1. Not so despicable. A kid might enjoy a bit of fun after having every taken from them.
      Also, not too many downtown businesses have much to offer fire victims attempting to rebuild. Seriously, a $100 pair of jeans, or $140 pair of shoes, or a $200 decorative lamp means zilch in such cases. Bless folks for wanting to contribute. But the victims needs Costco and Walmart not Tactics and Patagonia.

    This is Brett the owner of Vector Volcano Arcade. The donations will be auctioned off most likely for more than they are worth and proceeds will be donated to the victims. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
