Sisters-born app now can help Bend-area residents know when it’s safe, legal to burn

An app called 'Public Fire Safety' will help Deschutes County Fire District No. 2 residents know scheduled burn days and learn of emergency closures. It was developed by a Sisters company, and the Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District was the first to use it. Find it in your phone's app store, or visit https://publicfiresafety.com/ to learn more.
