Bend veterinary emergency and specialty hospital celebrates grand opening with the community

 Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon celebrated the opening of its emergency and specialty hospital Saturday. Dozens of people from around the community came out in support for the grand opening event. Staff grabbed their golden scissors to cut the ribbon, cheering on this milestone. The facility, with more than 100 employees, will provide surgery, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology and internal medicine. People were able to get a tour throughout the center.
