A bit of rain on the way

Happy Thursday, Central Oregon!

Overnight Thursday night, expect partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid- to high 20s.

Widespread low clouds will increase on Friday with a chance for rain and winds out of the south east up to 15 mph.

Highs will be in the 40s.

A chance for rain will continue into Friday night, with lows in the mid-30s.

Snow levels will be fairly high, so we're expecting mostly rain.

Saturday morning, we will start to see precipitation chances increase as a low pressure system moves over the area.

Saturday snow will mainly be confined to higher-elevation areas, with snow levels between 4,000-5,000 feet, while lower-elevation areas will have slight chances of light rain through the day.

Sunday morning, precipitation will diminish and mainly be in the mountains in the form of snow, and will clear out by the early afternoon hours.
