Showers taper off, Sunday stays cool and breezy

A Local Alert Weather Day was in effect today for rain and storms, but the more active weather has now moved out. We’ll stay mostly dry and cool for the rest of the day, though a few lingering showers are a possibility.

Overnight, temperatures will drop into the 30s under partly cloudy skies.

Remember, a Local Alert Weather Day doesn’t always mean severe weather. There are different levels. For example, today was a yellow day which indicates minor impacts to your daily routine.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with breezy to windy conditions. Afternoon highs will rise to the mid to upper 50s, keeping us below normal for Mid-May.

On Monday, expect variably cloudy conditions with a small chance for a stray shower. It won’t be a rainy day, just a passing chance for light rain. Temperatures will be a bit warmer, bringing us near normal once again.

Starting Tuesday, we’ll enter a dry and mild trend with temperatures climbing into the 70s. Other than the slight chance of rain on Monday, no additional moisture is expected.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
