Rain/snow on the way

-GOOD FRIDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

The advance of a potent winter storm that continues to gain strength will thicken our clouds today and increase our chance of seeing showers this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40's and southerly winds will pick up to 10-15 mph; gusting to 20 mph. Mixed showers are likely tonight as overnight lows dip to the upper 20's to low 30's. SE breezes back off to 5-10 mph.

It is likely that we will see more precipitation Saturday. As daytime highs warm back to the mid to upper 40's, most of that will be in the form of rain. Look for southerly winds at 5-15 mph. Rain and snow will stay with us Saturday night and then taper off Sunday morning, leaving us under partly cloudy skies.

Highs Sunday and for the rest of next week will be in the mid 40's. We will see sunny to mostly sunny skies Monday and Tuesday with more clouds building in Tuesday night. We will see a chance of rain beginning Wednesday that will stay with us through the end of next week.
