Chances for snow decrease
Earlier forecasts showed as much as 6 inches of new snow overnight on Friday in the southern parts of Deschutes County, but those readings have since changed.
La Pine is expected to receive one inch overnight, while Bend is set to see the same.
People can expect to wake up to mostly cloudy skies Saturday morning. That will dissipate by the afternoon, and partly cloudy skies will rule the region the rest of the weekend.
