A red flag warning in place, with clearer skies

Happy Labor Day, Central Oregon!

We start this week with some favorable conditions and a high of about 83, which is just above our yearly average.

Also, strong winds will play a big role in our day. Strong winds will make for some breezy conditions and a below-average low of 37.

Those southeasterly winds later in the day will clear up the hazy skies we have seen recently.

Those winds, however, will also contribute to a red flag warning today, that starts at 11 a.m.
